Keep in mind that these are optional. You can ignore these missions to skip them.
Choosing to save any of these characters allow you to partner up with them in the past and complete requests from them.

┣ Fight your way through the cave until you reach Valentin. ┣ Head outside and reach MagMell in the past and speak to Valentin. ┣ Assist the Mechanic in the Southern Ruins. ┣ Assist the Builder in the Water Treatment Plant ┗ Return to Valentin to report your progress then head to the Forma Storage Tower to complete the quest. Note: After this quest, you can choose to progress Timeline Shift Decision: Noah or Vanquishing the Heroes. |

┣ Interact with Noah's bond to return to MagMell of the past. ┣ Head to the lowest level of the Forma Storage Tower to meet Noah. ┗ Defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant. Note: Completing this quest grants access to the bridge to Sunken City. If you chose to skip this quest, you will need to speak to the Ferryman in Magmell Island to reach Sunken City instead. |

┣ Use the bridge to cross to Sunken City. ┗ Note: If you skipped Timeline Shift Decision: Noah you must use the Ferry from MagMell Port to reach Sunken City. ┣ Travel to Sunken City to slay Josee. ┣ Travel to Corroded Scar to slay Lyle. ┣ Travel to Undead Forest to slay Holly. ┣ Speak to Lavinia back in MagMell to learn about Zenon. ┗ Travel to Insula Carcere to slay Zenon. Note: After reaching Sunken City, you can choose to progress any of the Slaying the Hero quests in any order except for Slaying the Hero Zenon. |

┣ Go to the Clocktower (Josee's Outpost) in te Sunken City to find Josee's Cocoon. ┣ Interact with the Bond to travel back in time to Josee's era and help her in the Siezed Substation. ┣ Return to Josee then make your way to the Sunken Pylon and defeat the Metagen Remnant to unpollute the Sunken City and obtain the Glutton's Eyes. ┗ Use the Bond to return to the present, and defeat Josee the Blind Hero at Josee's Outpost. Note: This quest is required to access Timeline Shift Decision: Josee. |

┣ Head to the Corroded Scar to meet with Iris MagMell to search for clues on Lyle's Cocoon. ┣ Go to Forward Base One and interact with Lyle's Bond to return to his era. ┣ Speak to Lou through the Mistle then head to Forward Base Two to speak with the Chorus Guard and join them. ┣ Go to the Abandoned Land to defeat the Dead-Eyed Retainer. ┣ Head to the Crystal Grotto to defeat the Ravenous Predator. ┣ Return to Forward Base Two and speak to Craig to receive the Bridge Gate Key. ┣ Use the key on the bridge gate that leads to Pioneer Castle and proceed through the dungeon until you reach the Control Room. ┣ Follow the intruder's tracks in the dungeon and defeat the Tainted Scout. ┣ Make your way back to Craig and defeat the Tainted Assassin then reactivate the Furnace. ┗ Speak to Lyle and Craig again then return to the present to fight and defeat One-Armed Hero Lyle. Note: This quest is required to access Timeline Shift Decision: Lyle. |

┣ Head to the Withered Greenhouse in the Undead Forest to locate Holly's Cocoon and access her past. ┣ Ask for treatment the Sanatorium to obtain Holly as a partner. ┣ Go to the hotspring in Gorge Cave and defeat the Resurgence Zealot. ┣ Speak to Lou through a Mistle after learning the details on how to unseal Holly. ┣ Go to the Forest Complex and defeat Holly's Pathos to progress. ┣ Head to the Snowy Mountain Amusement Park to defeat another Holly's Pathos. ┣ Go to the Abandoned Hilltop Church to fight another one of Holly's Pathos. ┗ Return to the present to unseal Holly's Cocoon and defeat Holly the Reaper. Note: This quest is required to access Timeline Shift Decision: Holly. |

┣ Go to Forward Base One and speak to Lyle to prompt him to leave his sword. ┣ Return to the present and take Lyle's Rusted Sword from one of the graves in Forward Base One. ┣ Interact with Lyle's Fading Bond to return to Lyle's era. ┣ Speak to Lyle and Craig in Pioneer Castle. ┣ Collect Mine Site Northen Cave to collect investigation reports. ┣ Return to Lyle and Craig then fight Pioneer Queen Imogen. ┗ Return to the present and interact with the Cocoon to fight Hero Lyle. |

┣ Collect Camillo's Remnants in the Ruined Town near the Sanatorium. Simply fight the enemies in the area to obtain the remnants. ┣ Return to the Withered Greenhouse to activate Holly's Faded Bond and defeat the Retainer of Idris. ┣ Travel back in time to the Sanatorium to meet Holly and defeat Camillo Asturias. ┣ In the restored Sanatorium, pick up Lise's Hair Ornament in the lobby. ┗ Note: This item is needed to access Josee's Fading Bond. ┗ Interact with the Cocoon in front of the Sanatorium to fight and defeat Hero Holly. |

┣ Obtain Lise's Hair Ornament from Timeline Shift Decision: Holly to activate Josee's Bond. ┣ Head back to Josee's Outpost and interact with Josee's faded bond to travel back to Josee's era. ┣ Go to Josee's outpost and survive an ambush. ┣ Find Lise in the tower found south-east of the Hill Overlooking Clock Tower. Speak to the girl in front of the tower to obtain the Shelter Key, then head inside to find Lise. ┣ Travel back to era 2192 Hero Josee's Era 2 then speak to Lou through a mistle and Josee in her room to progress. ┣ Go to the Beureu's Castle in the Undead Forest to fight and defeat Alessandro Gobbo. ┗ Travel back to Josee's outpost to fight Hero Josee and end the questline. |

┣ Speak to Lavinia after defeating all heroes in the mainland to learn about Zenon and Insula Carcere. ┣ Visit the Ferryman in the West Coast Pier in Sunken City to reach Insula Carcere. ┣ Have Lavinia unseal the prison and proceed through the dungeon until you reach Zenon's cocoon. ┣ Interact with Zenon's bond to return to the past and speak with Zenon. ┣ Hunt all of Zenon's Duplicate Units in the mainland to obtain the key for his cocoon. ┗ Return to the present and defeat Hero Zenon. Note: This quest will not appear if you have an active quest main quest; this includes ongoing Timeline Shift Decisions. |

┣ Speak to Lavinia back in MagMell after defeating Hero Zenon and choose the I'm ready option. ┣ Slay the Resurgence Projections of Josee, Lyle, and Holly to unseal Valentin. ┗ Fight and defeat Hero Valentin to achieve A Hero's End. |

┣ Press Continue in the main menu to speak with Zenon. ┣ Interact with Zenon's bond to travel back to the Upheaval era and save Zenon from Insula Carcere. ┣ Head to MagMell and meet with your team to teleport to the Sealing Spire. ┗ Climb the Spire to fight and defeat Soul Savior Valentin. |

Code Vein 2 is set in a collapsed future where revenants must still fight to hold back the Resurgence that corrupts the world and the Luna Rapacis that turns revenants into horrors. To save the world, Lou and the protagonist set on a journey to the past and present in order to gain knowledge on stopping the Resurgence and Luna Rapacis.
