Lou's one-handed sword revolves around dealing decent physical damage thanks to some stat scalings on Strength and Dexterity while being able to deal more magic damage due to its high Mind scaling. This weapon is perfect for a spell-slinging support which is able to buff yourself and your partner for a longer period of time.

Noah's twin blades are one of the best weapons you can find in the game due to its high Dexterity scaling that can easily compete with other high DPS weapons. Additionally, this weapon comes with the Heart Breaker and Out for Blood default formae to buff yourself with more stagger damage and consume Bleed buildup that further increases your damage output.

Josee's two-handed sword is a hybrid of physical and fire damage. The stat scalings for it is on the weaker side with Strength and Mind having C+ but what sets this weapon apart from other two-handed weapons is the Combat Formae, Unquenchable Flame, capable of dealing high AoE fire damage in front of you.

Iris' hammer provides excellent mobility with jump attacks as it allows you to close gaps, and high strength scaling that pairs well with One-Shot builds. Additionally, it also comes with Gaia Impact and Dive Bomb combat formae that can deal huge burst damage in a single attack.

Lyle's one-handed sword is great for electric damage and its high dexterity scaling, which is great against enemies weak to electric. However, it has a tradeoff of a much lower base physical damage and if the enemy is resistant against electric damage then this weapon is less effective compared to other one-handed swords.

Craig's two-handed sword provides excellent Strength scaling but hinders you with 16 Strength burden so make sure you have enough strength to equip this to avoid Overburdening yourself. It also comes with the Boosted Blade default forma for high burst damage, while Fortress Stance and Foulblood Barrier will help you deflect enemy attacks and provide you and your Partner with a damage reduction barrier for a single hit.

This weapon revolves around dealing damage far from the enemy as the Combat Formae, Glacial Barrage, is capable of inflicting high ice damage in a straight line from a decent range as long as you can supply your Ichor well enough.
