Another variant of the one-shot build revolves around the A to S rank strength scaling of Cultist's Ritual Blade, Craig 2's blood code that provides all the strength stats and the Combat Formae, Boosted Blade, to deal high damage against targets in a straight line when fully charged and fully buffed. The twin blades, Twin Fangs of the Lone Wolf, will help provide all the 4 buffs needed to further boost the damage of boosted blade.

Burden and Overburdened Attributes

Code Vein 2 - Boosted Blade Burden

Even with two weapons, Craig 2's blood code is sufficient enough that your character will not be overburdened by any of the stats. You can try and overburden one stat and it should be Mind because you want to prolong your buffs so you won't have to reapply it every minute or two.

Craig 2's blood code is the perfect fit for this build because of how much burden you need to take into account for Strength, Vitality and Fortitude. You can also get one more damage buff if you are hit plus a defensive trait to reduce damage when over your LP.

You can substitute this bloodcode with a much higher strength for more damage after you progress more in the game.

The core of this build is the Cultist's Ritual Blade which has a high strength scaling that you can obtain as early as you repair the bridge to Sunken City. The formae needed for this weapon are all about buffs to your next attacks to heavily boost the damage of boosted blade.

This is another core of this build because this weapon alongside Swift Thunder and Fangs of Conviction has the right forma build to accomodate for all four of the support formae needed for this build alongside fast attacks to quickly reach the max buff from Blade Dance.

If you cannot find these weapons, make sure to find another weapon type that has at least 7 Handling and 9 Conversion.

Recommended Jail

The best Jail to equip is Ogre due to the second highest amount of physical resistance and defenses it will give your character when worn. Otherwise, another use of this Jail is its fast windup attacks to enable more room to dodge or attack.

The best Bequeathed Formae for this build is Bloodreaver Blade for a much shorter combo for half the total damage if done right as this formae also scales with strength and has a large AoE range. Mutinous Bracer for the defensive formae to look for parries so that you can easily execute the combo without any risk.

As for the boosters, Blood-Fueled Strike and Two-Handed Sword Mastery are the only two boosters necessary for this build. The rest can be substituted by something similar you currently have or something stronger such as the Overload version of Strength Booster.

During the past era, you can use Lyle McLeish as your partner to increase the disruption of your attacks especially to your two-handed sword and also gain Ichor upon successful dodge so you won't need to risk yourself mid fight to get more Ichor.

In the present era, you can use Lou MagMell to gain more mind stat to prolong your buffs and also deal more damage against slowed enemies if you have access to it or if Lou can inflict it. She can also provide you with more defense and decrease the time for her to revive you again after dying.

Craig Boosted Blade One-Shot Build Playstyle

Boosted Blade Full Combo

Boosted blade combo can be hard to pull off but when successfully executed, it can easily demolish bosses in one hit or at the very least put them to phase 2. Here are the steps to do this combo:

  1. Before the fight, switch to your twin blades, then activate all the 4 buffs.
  2. Do a full light attack with your twin blades then two heavy attack to get the full Blade Dance buff.
  3. Perform a drain attack then immediately dodge and switch to your two-handed sword.
  4. Cast all 3 of your next attack buffs then wait for the right opportunity to attack.
  5. (Optional) Get hit or parry to gain another damage buff for your next attack.
  6. Hold the Boosted Blade formae and strike the enemy to deal up to 40-50k damage with one attack.

Bloodreaver Blade AoE Damage Combo

Another combo you can do in this build is with the bequeathed formae, Bloodreaver Blade, to deal AoE damage for half of the total damage compared to the boosted blade full combo. Do take note that the next attack buffs will not work with Bloodreaver Blade. Here are the steps you need to do:

  1. Before the fight, switch to your twin blades, then activate all the 4 buffs.
  2. Do a full light attack with your twin blades then two heavy attack to get the full Blade Dance buff.
  3. Perform a drain attack then wait for the right opportunity to use Bloodreaver Blade.
  4. Make sure to let go of the button when it flashes the second time. You can count up to 2 to time it without needing to rely on the visual cue.
