Code Vein 2 was released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on January 29, 2026. Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners gained access to the game 72 hours before the official release date.
Preload Is Now Available
Preloading is now live on PS5 and Xbox, allowing players to download the game ahead of launch, while preloading for the PC (Steam) version is not yet available.
Character Creator Demo on January 22 for PC and January 23 for Consoles
The Character Creator demo is set to release on January 22 on Steam, and January 23 on the PlayStation and Xbox stores. This demo allows you to try out Code Vein 2's deep character customization and allows you to transfer your characters to the full game! It also features a Photo Mode to capture scenes with your custom character.

Mask of Idris DLC: To Release in January 2027
The Mask of Idris DLC is an expansion set to release in January 2027. It is exclusive to the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game, so players on the Standard edition will need to upgrade in order to access the DLC.
