Execute Back Attacks to Stagger Her

We recommend staying behind Resurgence Zealot to execute back attacks that can deal huge stagger damage to give you an opening you for a Drain Attack. This will not only maximize your damage output, but also allow you to regain Ichor to help reapply your buffs and cast Magic Forma from a far.

How to Use Drain Attacks

Parry Her Melee Attacks

Resurgence Zealot focuses on performing thrust attacks with her spear. We suggest equipping the Mutinous Bracer to parry her melee attacks as much as you can to give you big openings for damage and possibly Stagger her as well for a Drain Attack.

Keep in mind that you can also make use of the Reaper Jail since the initial spin animation allows you to parry melee attacks as well.

You can find Resurgence Zealot at the Gorge Cave in Undead Forest during the Slaying the Hero Holly questline. Take note that this has to be in the 2177: The Hero Holly's Era timeline in order for you to access the Resurgence Zealot boss fight.
