| Jails Explained |

|

Jails are a type of equipment used to perform Drain Attacks. When an enemy is staggered, initiating a Drain Attack summons the Jail from the player's back to deliver a special strike that deals damage and restores Ichor.

A Jail’s Drain Attack damage scales with your character's attributes. The scaling ranges from S, representing the highest attribute scaling, down to E, the lowest. The higher the scaling tier, the more damage the Jail gains from increasing that attribute.

Jails provide passive stats such as Balance (stagger resistance) and resistances to different damage types. This is not unique to Jails, however, since other equipment also provides these bonuses.

Each Jail executes different Drain actions and also possesses unique traits that are useful in various situations and with different builds. Similar to the Blood Veils in the previous game, Jails can serve as the primary passive defensive layer while also providing additional passive combat bonuses.
While upgrades for Jails have yet to be confirmed, it is likely that they will feature some form of enhancement or transformation system, similar to how Blood Veils were transformed using Chromes in the first game.
