The Sunblight Solar Halberd build makes use of the Solar Halberd: Zenon to consistently buildup Sunblight on your enemies and trigger them for huge burst damage. We will also be making using various buffs such sa Adrenaline, Overload, and Somatic Zeal to maximize our damage output before any fight.

We highly recommend equipping the Hero Valentin blood code so we can make use of the balanced Strength and Dexterity attributes to maximize the damage potential of our weapon scaling. Furthermore, it also comes with a trait for health recovery whenever we execute a drain attack so we can gain both Ichor and Health at the same time.

We will mainly be using the Solar Halberd: Zenon due to ability to inflict Sunblight buildup on each weapon attack. For our weapon formae, we recommend equipping Piercing Leap - Tremor for burst damage and invulnerability frames, while Heliosphere and Severing Abyss is best used for triggering Sunblight faster due to their multi-hit functions.

Additionally, we will also be making use of Somatic Zeal to provide us with more Strength and Dexterity attributes and maximize our damage output.

As for our secondary weapon, we recommend using the Ame-no-Habakiri Greatsword as a buff holder to help you apply Adrenaline and Overdrive much easier during fights. Take note that this is a flexible weapon slot so you can make use of other weapons with lower attributes to slot in more buffs.

Sunblight Solar Halberd Build Playstyle

Melee Buffer with Multi-Hit Skills

When going against any type of enemy, you will be adopting a melee playstyle that makes use of high damage skills to easily trigger Sunblight and deal huge burst damage. The rotation is as follows:

  1. Swap to your secondary weapon and activate Adrenaline and Overdrive to more damage.
  2. Swap back to Solar Halberd and use Somatic Zeal to maximize our damage.
  3. Parry your enemy with Mutinous Bracer until you stagger them for a Drain Attack.
  4. Cast Severing Abyss and Heliosphere for faster Sunblight buildup.
  5. Use Piercing Leap - Tremor for burst damage.
  6. Use the Bat jail's charged attack to regain Ichor.
  7. Rinse and repeat.
