How to Beat Camilo Asturias

Checkmark Parry His Melee Attacks
Checkmark Dodge His Wind Rush and Jump Attack
Checkmark Sprint Away From Spikes During 2nd Phase

Parry His Melee Attacks

Camilo Asturias is a melee boss that focuses on dashing and rushing his opponents with his claw attacks. We recommend equipping the Mutinous Bracer to parry his melee attacks as much as you can for big openings to deal damage and eventually stagger him for a drain attack.

Keep in mind that you can also make use of the Reaper Jail since the initial spin animation allows you to parry melee attacks as well.

How to Parry

Dodge His Wind Rush and Jump Attack

Important moves to watch out for are the Wind Rush attack that dashes past you and hits you with a wind after-effect, and his jump attack that slams into the ground and cannot be parried. In order to evade these moves, we recommend dodging to either sides to avoid taking damage from the wind effect and slam AoE.

Sprint Away From Spikes During 2nd Phase

Once you reach his 2nd phase, he will start executing a roar with a wide AoE range that immediately follows up with a series of earth spikes that track your location. We suggest sprinting away when he summons the earth spikes so you can easily avoid the attack.

You can find Camilo Asturias at the Sanatorium in the Undead Forest during the Timeline Shift Decision: Holly questline. Take note that this has to be in the 2183: The Hero Holly's Era 2 timeline in order for you to access the Camilo Asturias boss fight.
