How to Unlock Lyle McLeish
Complete the Slay the Hero Lyle
To permanently unlock Lyle McLeish as a partner, you must finish the "Slaying the Hero Lyle" quest.

Temporarily Available During Lyle’s Timeline
Lyle can be recruited temporarily during his timeline in Free Exploration. Speak with him in MagMell once the Free Exploration era begins to add him as a Partner.
He can only be summoned during this period and is not yet permanently available.

Found Near the Bookshelf of the Operating Room

After recruiting Lyle McLeish, you can visit and interact with him near the bookshelf of the operating room. The Operating Room can be found by entering the door in the middle of the main hall, and then going through the right hallway until you reach the farthest room.
Accompanies Craig Near the Hotspring After You Recruit Him

After you are able to recruit Craig, he will leave his prior location and move close to the area of Craig near the hotsprings. Lyle will be inspecting the vending machine. The Hotsprings can be found by entering the door in the middle of the main hall, and then proceed through the left hallway. After that, ascend the stairs, and there should be the duo.
