How to Unlock Josee Anjou
Finish the Slaying the Hero Josee Quest
To permanently unlock Josee Anjou as a partner, you must complete the "Slaying the Hero Josee" quest.

Temporarily Available During Josee’s Timeline
Josée is available as a Partner during Free Exploration after defeating Josée the Blind Hero. Speak with her in MagMell once the Free Exploration era begins to recruit her temporarily.
She cannot yet be permanently unlocked outside this timeline window.

After recruiting Josee Anjou, you can visit and interact with her in the Dining Hall of MagMell Base, often times changing areas but staying in that relative area.
The Dining Hall can be found by entering the door in the middle of the main hall, and then going through the door on the right.

Fully mastering a Partner or NPC’s Blood Code can grant special rewards, such as Boosters tied to that character’s preferred weapon type.
New Blood Codes are unlocked by interacting with a Mistle after fully mastering a character’s previous Blood Code.

Josee's two-handed sword is a hybrid of physical and fire damage. The stat scalings for it is on the weaker side with Strength and Mind having C+ but what sets this weapon apart from other two-handed weapons is the Combat Formae, Unquenchable Flame, capable of dealing high AoE fire damage in front of you.
How to Unlock Partner Weapon

Partner Trait Bonuses are passive effects granted by a Partner that improve your stats or provide extra combat benefits.
Partners can have multiple trait bonuses, and new bonuses become available as you advance their bond and unlock their higher‑tier Blood Codes.
Once unlocked, Partner Trait Bonuses remain active whenever that Partner is accompanying you.

The Tragic Queen Burdened by Guilt
Josée is the Revenant who governs the Sunken City, standing as both its ruler and its shield.
She established shelters to safeguard the remaining survivors, yet carries deep remorse over a past failure to prevent a catastrophic Resurgence. Driven by that guilt, she continues to fight on the front lines to protect what remains of humanity.
