Code Vein 2 features three endings: A Hero’s End, Luna Fraterna, and Miraculous Bonds. Players can unlock all three in a single playthrough. This guide explains each ending and the steps needed to reach them.
List of Contents

All three endings in Code Vein 2 can be unlocked in a single playthrough. The game doesn’t use a traditional multiple-choice system.
The endings happen automatically in order, and none are missable.

This is the first ending players will unlock. It occurs automatically after completing the main campaign and defeating Hero Valentin in Luna Rapacis.
The credits roll after the fight, giving the appearance of a story conclusion, but the journey continues.
Slaying the Hero Valentin Quest Walkthrough

The second ending. After A Hero’s End, Zenon appears on the main menu pointing at Continue.
Selecting it resumes the story in 2207: The Upheaval Era, where you climb the Sealing Spire and defeat Soul Savior Valentin.
Timeline Shift Decision: Upheaval Quest Walkthrough

The true ending of Code Vein 2. After Luna Fraterna, a new Rescue Lou option appears on the main menu. Completing this mission concludes the story.
| Partner | Timeline Shift Decision Quest |
|---|---|
| Noah | Timeline Shift Decision: Noah |
| Holly | Timeline Shift Decision: Holly |
| Josee | Timeline Shift Decision: Josee |
| Lyle | Timeline Shift Decision: Lyle |
To unlock the Miraculous Bonds ending, you need to complete all four Timeline Shift Decision quests, which restore the history of key characters. After completing these quests and finishing Luna Fraterna, return to the main menu and select Rescue Lou to start the final mission.

After selecting Rescue Lou from the main menu, the story continues into a special endgame sequence exclusive to the Miraculous Bonds ending. You will eventually reach a new area where the final battle takes place.
Defeating the Resurgence Core is required to complete the true ending and trigger the final cutscene. This battle serves as the conclusion of Code Vein 2 and rewards you with the Resurgence Core Blood Code upon completion.
| Boss | Booster |
|---|---|
| Metagen Remnant |
|
| Pioneer Queen Imogen |
|
| Zenon Duplicate Unit |
|
| Camilo Asturias |
|
| Franz the Dejected Assailant |
|
Before confronting the Resurgence Core, you can choose to challenge all five bosses tied to the Timeline Decision Missions.
These battles are not required to finish the true ending but reward powerful boosters that can help you against Resurgence Core.
