How to Beat Hero Holly the Reaper

Focus on Dodging Her Magic Attacks

Hollly is capable of casting various magic attacks such as the Blue Bubbles and Flame Pillar that can be annoying to deal with. Watch out for certain animations before she casts her spells such as a blue glow on Holly's hand to help you preemptively avoid them.

Use the Flower Beds to Avoid Ailments

Eventually, Holly the Reaper will teleport to the center of the room and start wailing to perform an area-wide Ailment attack that blankets the field with miasma. This attack can inflict Toxic Venom, Fatal Leak, Stun, and Inhibit so make sure you stand on the flower beds to easily avoid this as you cannot be hit by the attack while on top of it.

Eliminate Her Clone First During 2nd Phase

Eliminate Her Clone First During 2nd Phase

During her 2nd phase, she will summon a clone of herself that can simultaneously attack you as well. We suggest defeating her clone first since it can easily kill you with various attacks and only has a small health pool.

Take note that she can still summon her clone again after you defeat it so make sure to focus your attacks on it again to prevent any more disruptions.

Parry Her Melee Attacks on Phase 2

Once you reach her 2nd phase, Holly will mostly be using her Scythe to perform various combos in close range. We recommend using the Mutinous Bracer defensive forma to parry her melee attacks and provide you with a huge opening to deal damage.

Keep in mind that you can also use the Reaper jail to parry her melee attacks as well and turn the tables around her.

You can find Hero Holly the Reaper at the Withered Greenhouse in the Undead Forest during the Slaying the Hero Holly questline. Take note that this has to be in the 2277: The Present timeline in order for you to access the Hero Holly the Reaper boss fight.
