|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

The classic One-Handed Sword makes a return! This weapon type is designed to have multiple attack chains that easily branch off to other moves, making it a solid option for those who are new to this genre!
Furthermore, One-handed swords can equip a wide array of formaes, meaning you can easily customize your kit depending on the situation and your playstyle!

Two-handed Swords are bulky swords known for their heft and focus on proper positioning for a heavy and devastating slash, often adopting a timing-based playstyle. These weapons deliver decisive strikes when timed and used correctly at the cost of mobility and speed.

For those interested in a long-range playstyle, Bayonets are weapons that can alternate between close-range stabs and long-range attacks using different ammunition.
Given that this weapon is unique with its ranged combat, it has a variety of specialized formae to complement its playstyle!

If you prefer mid-ranged combat while having 360 coverage, the Halberd weapon type should give you a good time! This heavy weapon type cleaves through enemies using wide-area slashes and long-ranged pokes.
Most of the Formae associated with the Halberd specialize in keeping enemies at bay, making it more suited for those that want a defensive-oriented playstyle!

The Hammer is a short-ranged heavy weapon that specializes in interrupting enemies through high single-target damage and poise.
Furthermore, its specialized Formae allows the Revenant to leap and slam down, shaking the very earth to deal with multiple enemies. The Hammer is recommended for those whose playstyle is trading blows that are completely one-sided!

One of the new weapon types introduced in the game, the Twin Blades are fast weapons that provide you with mobility and multi-hit moves. These weapons synergize perfectly with status ailments and drain attacks! If you prefer a playstyle that keeps you on your toes, weaving in and out of attacks, then the Twin Blades are for you

Like the twin blades, Rune Blades are a new addition to the game. These unconventional weapons are not held, but controlled by the power of formae.
As such, the Rune Blades specialize in bringing out the full potential of ability-enhancing and long-range Formae, all the while performing acrobatic techniques as their base moveset. If you prefer a playstyle centering around casting magic, the Rune Blades are for you!

While there are other means of defeating enemies, the Weapons are the player's main source of damage. Each weapon has movesets and stat scalings unique only to them, making it so that any Revenant can find an armament that they most align with and build towards.

All weapons, even those you acquire earlier in the game, can be used throughout all stages of the campaign with the process of Upgrading! By interacting with the Merchant found in your hub, you can increase a weapon's stats and its scaling to keep it relevant as you progress!

If you like a weapon but prefer a playstyle that revolves around a different stat than its usual affinity, you can Transform the weapon and change its stat scaling. For example, you can transform a STR-based weapon to have scaling on MND if you want to do a mage-warrior build!
All of the weapons of Code Vein II have varying movesets and weapon formae unique only to them, meaning that even weapons of the same type will never feel the same in terms of playstyle.
For example, some Twin Blades' moveset specializes in aerial combat, and some are more grounded in terms of combos. Check out each of the weapons and find your favorite!
| Ammo | Description |
|---|---|
Rifle |
Specializes in mid-long range damage, allowing you to keep a distance. |
Shotgun |
Specializes in close-range damage, allowing you to deal devastating burst damage up-close. |
Grenade Launcher |
Specializes in area-of-effect burst; best used to deal with crowds of enemies. |
The Bayonets in this game each have their own firing mechanism, those being the Rifle, Shotgun, and Grenade Launcher types. Each has its own specialties best suited for different scenarios, so choose one based on your playstyle or the situation at hand.

Hey btw there is a set of runes blades I didn't notice on here. If u know the boss that's right before u find josee's cacoon u can get 2 of those six blades from a specific enemy type. I can't remember where exactly but I know there are at least 2 spawns for them in undead forest. They are called stealth blades and scale at I believe A in mind or willpower could be higher but idk I changed mine to have blood element so it's S+ in the scaling now
