・Can be found inside a chest in Abandoned Land at Corroded Scar
・You'll get the Bleeding Shield from a chest in one of the building in the Corroded Scar's Abandoned Land.
A shield that guards against enemy attacks and nullifies physical damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina.

Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption.

Equipping it increases base defense.

・Can be found inside a chest in at Undead Forest
・You can find this defensive formae inside a chest south of the Abandoned Hilltop Church.
A shield that guards against enemy attacks and nullifies physical damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina. Perfectly blocking enemy attacks reduces stamina consumption.
Bleeding Shield (Light)Bleeding Shield (Light)
・Can be found inside a chest in Magmell Ruins at MagMell Island
・You'll find the Bleeding Shield (Light) Forma in a chest in the southeastern section of the Ruins in MagMell Island. You'll find it near the entrance to the underground section.

・You'll get the Bloodsoaked Shields (Heavy) from a chest inside the Grotto Military Site in the Undead Forest.

・Talk to the Jadwiga Minion near the Training Grounds entrance in MagMell Base to get the Mutinous Bracer Forma.
A bracer that can parry enemy attacks.

Respond to an incoming attack with a well-timed parry to deflect and break the enemy's stance.

Successful parries consume ichor. They break the enemy's stance even if you have insufficient ichor but deal damage to the player.
Shield of StuporShield of Stupor
・Defeat Franz the Dejected Assailant during the Timeline Shift Decision: Noah quest to get the Shield of Stupor from a chest after the fight.
A shield that guards against enemy attacks and reduces damage. In exchange, guarding consumes stamina.

An evasive forma that enables quick stepping.

Activate it while holding in any direction to step. Equipping it slightly increases base defense.
Vanishing HollowVanishing Hollow
・You'll get the Vanishing Hollow Forma by talking to Josee after completing the Requests from a Friend: Lise quest.
A forma which allows the user to leap up vertically on the spot. Nullifies enemy attacks during the ascent. After ascending, various midair actions can be performed. Equipping it increases base defense.

・Purchased from Jadwiga's Minion outside of Northern Watch Fort in Corroded Scar.

Equip To Gain Defensive Options

Defensive Formae are equipped as your main defensive option against oncoming damage. They provide additional defensive base stats, as well as providing an additional defensive ability.

It is important to note that different Defensive Formae possess varying resistances. Therefore, it is advisable to switch to another Defensive Formae type that has resistances that match the attacks those of the enemies encountered.
