Complete Partner Specific Requests

Code Vein 2 - Partner Requests

You can increase partner affinity by fulfilling their requests. This is the highest source of affinity you can do for your partner but only limited to how many requests they make you do.

Explore and Kill Enemies With the Partner

Code Vein 2 - Partner Fight

Having the partner summoned or assimilated in you while you explore the world opening chests, unlocking doors, killing enemies and basically everything you do in the world will slowly increase your affinity with your current partner.

Interactive Map and Locations

Some Partners Are Only Available in the Present or Past

Due to the story of the game, some partners will only be available in the present era while the rest are in the past era. Make sure to check which partner you want to raise affinity with and do the exploration in that era the partner is available in.

You can also give them items as a gift by talking to them inside MagMell. Each partner will have a set of gifts that they like leading to more affinity and trade points gained through it.

Best Method to Increase Partner Affinity

Use Boiled Eggs as a Gift

The easiest way to gain extra affinity to all partners is by making Boiled Eggs. You can obtain Egg by simply buying it from Jadwiga's Minion in Refugee Village and it will never run out of stock. The only limitation is the amount of Haze you can farm.

Do take note that only giving gifts to a partner will not increase their affinity past a certain limit as you still need to complete their requests.

Defeat High Level Enemies

You can also gain more affinity by defeating high level enemies. The further you are from MagMell Island, the harder the enemies you encounter. This is a great alternative if you are late in the game and wants to quickly raise the affinity of other partners.

By reaching a certain amount of affinity, your partner will start to trade you their signature weapon or formae that they use in battle. Most of these items are generally strong therefore it is in your best interest to quickly raise the affinity of the partner that matches your choice of weapon type.

You can also get powerful consumables, items and recipes from them by exchanging Trading Points you earned after giving them gifts.

Irreplaceable Achievement

Increasing a partner's affinity to max will reward you with the Irreplaceable Achievement. You only need to do this with a single partner, so it would be easier to achieve if you stick with your most used partner.

Partner affinity is a hidden stat for each partner in the game that you can raise. This mainly affects the items they trade with you.

Affinity Progress Shown via Amount of Trade Items

Code Vein 2 - Partner Affinity Shown in Trades

The only way to know how far you have leveled their affinity is by simply checking their trading inventory and see how many items they stocked up. If they have less than 4 then they are at base affinity. If they have more, it means that you are progressing their affinity.

Link Traits and Partner Trait Bonuses

Link Traits and Partner Trait Bonus

Increasing a Partner’s affinity also strengthens the Partner Benefits they provide, including Link Traits and Partner Trait Bonuses.

Link Traits are special effects granted by each Partner that enhance combat or exploration. These effects are only active while your bond (LP) remains intact, and will be lost temporarily if LP is fully depleted during battle.

Partner Trait Bonuses are passive effects that improve stats or add additional combat benefits. As affinity increases, more trait bonuses can be unlocked, making the Partner stronger and more effective overall.
