Focus on Attacking The Head

The best way to defeat Soul Savior Valentin is by attacking the head since this deals the most damage out of all the body parts you can hit. We recommend utilizing jump attacks or long-range magic formae such as Bolt Blast or Blazing Roar to accurately attack its head for bonus damage.

Avoid His Lifesteal AoE

Soul Savior Valentin is also capable of performing an area-wide vortex that pulls you towards him to deal damage and heal himself when it hits you. We suggest sprinting away for the duration of the vortex and dodging just once the green particles burst to avoid the attack and prevent him from healing.

Once you reach 50% of its health, Soul Savior Valentin will start executing ranged laser beam attacks more frequently, which can be hard to telegraph. Make sure to stay within close range of him as his melee attacks will start having follow-up lasers that you can easily avoid if you stay underneath.

Keep in mind the Rotating Laser Beam and the Rain of Lasers move as these can easily chop off a big chunk of your health if you are not careful. Try to dodge towards the rotating lasers to avoid them, while the Rain of Lasers can be avoided by sprinting away and keeping your distance from Soul Savior Valentin itself.

Equip and Use Curse Resistance Items

Most of Soul Savior Valentin’s attacks are capable of inflicting Luna Rapacis, which prevents you from healing and banishes your Partner for the duration. In case you do get afflicted, make sure to use a Luna Vaccine or equip the Resistance Booster - Curse to boost your Luna Rapacis resistance and lessen the affliction buildup.

If you do not have the items you need and still get afflicted with Luna Rapacis, make sure to focus on dodging Soul Savior Valentin’s attacks until the end of the affliction duration, since it only lasts for a few seconds.
