Pull for Blue Orbs!

Blue is the best color to pull from on this banner with both New Year Seiðr and Winter Edelgard color sharing.

Red and Colorless are also good colors to pull from with the presence of both Winter Byleth (M) and Winter Yunaka. However, their color sharing counterparts aren't as good, which is why we recommend going for Blue orbs here.

Winter Edelgard specifically is the reason why we recommend Blue here. She is arguably the best offensive unit in the entire game with Black Yule Lance and Raging Tempest, allowing her to quickly mow down multiple enemies in a single turn. She can even inherit Galeforce to get a third action in a turn!

There is a reason why competitive teams in PvP game modes field Near Save units that are capable of withstanding Winter Edelgard's assault. She alone warps the metagame to that extent.

If players already have Winter Edelgard, then we recommend either pulling for merges here if aiming to merge up to +10, or skipping this banner entirely otherwise.

Aiming for merges on a top tier hero is always good, as that hero will be able to solo carry maps in any game mode. However, Winter Edelgard is a hero that can function just as well without any merges as long as investment is provided; notably, using trait fruit to give her a +Atk IV.
