When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Winter Yunaka are +Spd and -Def. Boosting Spd improves her already high base 47 Spd to base 51, outspeeding a majority of the metagame. With Silent Yule Knife neutralizing effects that prevent Yunaka's follow-up attacks, having a Spd advantage is key in both doubling her foes and preventing her foes from doubling her in return.
Winter Yunaka's Def is her least important stat at only base 21 and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Winter Yunaka up to +10, as she needs the Spd boost to ensure she can create follow-up attacks against her foes.

Winter Yunaka is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Winter Yunaka is a powerful dagger unit who can take advantage of her mobility to simultaneously decrease the damage reduction of enemies and boost her own. This is made possible by her signature weapon, the Silent Yule Knife, which only calculates the starting and ending points when initiating combat to trigger these effects.
If all conditions are met, she can achieve up to a 90% damage reduction, gaining a flat 30% multiplier for each movement space she takes. This effect also penalizes the foe's non-Special damage reduction by up to 90%, 30% for each space she moves. Additionally, if she lands on difficult terrain or is within two spaces of Divine Veins, the damage reduction and damage reduction cut effects are immediately raised to the maximum amount of 90%!
Yunaka takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Winter Yunaka comes with several valuable skills that can be foddered to other units, including Flared Sparrow, Assassin's Strike, and Fatal Smoke 4.
While we recommend prioritizing Assassin's Strike due to its rarity, it's also possible to acquire all skills at once, given that Poison Strike 3 and Swift Sparrow 2 are readily available in the summoning pool. Heroes like Saizo and Luthier come with these skills, making it easy to get them through regular summons.
