What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Good demote unit with flying mobility and refresher support. ・Jehanna Dagger+ has built-in Phantom Spd, grants Tethys and nearby allies Atk/Spd+6, 【Dodge】, and in-combat Penalty neutralization at the start of each phase, and grants Tethys in-combat bonus stats, damage reduction on foe's first attack, and damage reflection based on damage reduced. |
Might: 12 Range: 2 If a skill compares unit's Spd to a foe's or ally's Spd, treats unit's Spd as if granted +7. At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6, 【Dodge】, and "neutralizes penalties on unit during combat" to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 7 during combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and unit's next attack deals damage = total damage reduced from foe's first attack (by any source, including other skills). Resets at end of combat. Effect: 【Dagger 7】 |
Range: 1 Enables target to take another action. Cannot be used on units with Sing or Dance. |
If a skill like Sing or Dance is used, enables 【Canto (1)】 and grants Atk/Spd+6 and 【Desperation】 to target for 1 turn. |
Infantry and armored allies within 2 spaces can move to a space adjacent to unit. |

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Jehanna Tethys are +Res and -Atk. Jehanna Tethys has a great Res stat of base 42, raised to base 46 with a superboon. She can utilize that Res stat to both fulfill a secondary magic tank role as well as apply Res-based debuffs from support-type passive skills.
As a refresher unit, Jehanna Tethys isn't expected to attack her foes, especially with her abysmal base 31 Atk. It is a safe bane to take.
We recommend +Res when merging Jehanna Tethys up to +10 to improve her ability to soak magic damage for her team.

This build allows Jehanna Tethys to provide multiple support effects to her team: refresher support, bonuses with Jehanna Dagger+, anti-trap with Potent Disarm, and mobility with Lookout Force and Soaring Echo. Outside of Aether Raids, Tethys can use her base kit's Firestorm Dance 3 instead of Potent Disarm.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Jehanna Tethys is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Jehanna Tethys's inheritable weapon Jehanna Dagger+ is a fantastic inheritable weapon on par with Arcane weapons.
It has a built-in Phantom Spd effect, and grants herself and her nearby allies Atk/Spd+6, 【Dodge】, and a Null Debuffs status effect at the start of each phase.
In combat, Jehanna Dagger+ grants Tethys Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, 7 damage reduction on her foe's first attack, and damage reflection equal to the total amount of damage reduced from her foe's first attack in the current combat.
Jehanna Dagger+ has both support and combat effects and damage reflection is one of the best effects in the game, making it a valuable weapon to give to your favorite units.
Jehanna Tethys suffers from not having any unique skills to call her own, making her unable to stand out amongst other units.
Flying refresher units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive skill makes Jehanna Tethys replaceable by better units.
As a flying unit, Jehanna Tethys takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |
---|
We recommend that you use Unlock Potential to bring Tethys - Dancing Sands from 4 Stars to 5 Stars. Tethys - Dancing Sands is very useful as a flying refresher, so you may find using Unlock Potential on Tethys - Dancing Sands helpful if your team lacks a party member with this role.

Jehanna Tethys has Jehanna Dagger+, Firestorm Dance 3, and Guidance 3 as inheritable options.
Jehanna Dagger+ is one of the best inheritable dagger weapons in the game, on par with Arcane daggers. We heavily recommend prioritizing it.
Additionally, by inheriting Gale Dance 1 or Blaze Dance 1 first, it is possible to acquire both Jehanna Dagger+ and Firestorm Dance 3 with one copy of Jehanna Tethys.
