What Are Inheritance Restrictions?

Some skills cannot be learned by all units!

Inherit Skill can be used to transfer skills from one unit to another, making your heroes more equipped to deal with tougher enemies. You can fill in every slot of a unit's skills to increase their strengths and abilities. However, some skills cannot be transferred to all units, depending on factors such as weapon and movement type.

Skills with inheritance restrictions are slightly different from exclusive skills, which can only be learned by the original unit. This means that exclusive skills cannot be inherited by a different unit, regardless of their weapon or movement type. • Staff specials (which heal another unit) cannot by inherited by non-staff units.
• Otherwise, special skills have no weapon or move restrictions.
• Miracle and Galeforce are the only exceptions to these rules.

• Exclusive Weapons cannot be inherited
• Staff assists (which heal another unit) cannot be inherited by non-staff units.
• Movement assists cannot be inherited by staff-users.
• Dance, Sing, and other refresher assists cannot be inherited.
