How to Start Multiplayer Free Roam
Create or Join a Room With Friends

Select Online Play in the Mario Kart World main menu. |
| 2 |  Select Friends. Then, if you are joining a room, select Search by Room ID at the top right. On the other hand, if you are creating a room, select Create Room at the top left of the screen. ▶︎ How to Add Friends and Play Together |
| 3 |  Once you create a room, select View Room Info to make the Room ID appear. Then, share the ID with your friends so they can join your game. |

Once your friends join your room, you can start the game! |

If there is a room created already, you could also enter the room ID that your friend sent to join their room. Afterwards, just wait for the game to start! |
Multiplayer Free Roam is available by joining or creating a room with friends through the Online Play in the main menu.
Unavailable in Standard Free Roam
You can't access Multiplayer Free Roam from the main menu. Remember that you must join or create a room with other players first to start.

Collect Items With Friends
Multiplayer Free Roam is a feature where you can collect or enjoy all of the Peach Medallions, Question Panels, Dash Food, and Outfits with friends or other players. This makes the entire experience faster and more fun!
P-Switches Are Unavailable

Almost all of the Free Roam's features are available in its multiplayer version, except for P-Switches. This means you have to find these blue switches and complete its challenges all on your own.
