Complete the Lightning Cup

Bowser Jr. is unlocked as a reward for competing in and completing the Lightning Cup. Your placement in the Cup or the speed you choose to play in (50, 100, and 150) does not matter. The only requirement is that you complete the Cup.

For Bowser Jr., we recommend Baby Blooper. They have similar stats, so they are a good match. While it has average speed, it also has high acceleration and handling. It is also good at handling sharp turns, and can be accelerated with a Mini-Turbo.
