Here's everything you can do in Free Roam Mode in Mario Kart World. Learn how to get to Free Roam Mode and all the Activities you can do and collectibles you can obtain!

In the main menu where the gameplay demo plays on the background, you can press the + button to start Free Roam Mode from where the demo is.

Another way to start Free Roam Mode is to select the Map Icon at the bottom of the main menu. From the map, you can select which location to start your Free Roam from.

Players can embark on secret missions by interacting with the blue P Switches found throughout the world in Free Roam Mode. Driving on a P Switch starts a challenge that involves completing a certain objective, such as obtaining all the blue coins, or reaching the finish line, in a set amount of time.
Completing P Switch Missions earns you Stickers to personalize your karts!

Peach Medallions are large collectible coins another type of collectible you can in hidden nooks and crannies while in Free Roam Mode. Like other collectibles, collecting Peach Medallions earns you Stickers you can use to customize your karts with.

Hidden ? Panels, or Question Panels, can be found in Free Roam mode, some of which can be accessed by performing techniques such as rail slides to get to them.
Much like other collectibles, activating Question (?) Panels earns you Stickers you can use to customize your karts with.

You can also freely stack up on some coins while playing Free Roam Mode. While the original coins from each track are still there, additional stacks of coins can be obtained while exploring! You can use these coins to purchase new vehicles.

Dash Foods can be obtained at any Yoshi's location in the map. While these function similarly to mushrooms where they give you a short speed boost, they also unlock new outfits for many characters! There are Yoshi's locations found across the map each with their own specialties to try out.

You can collect Stickers by accomplishing certain achievements in the game such as driving a specific amount of kilometers, or collecting a specific amount of collectibles. Many of these can be achieved during Free Roam Mode. The Stickers you collect can then be used to personalize your kart.

Playing Free Roam Mode is the perfect opportunity to take exciting, or scenic pictures of your favorite track or character. You can even do these with friends for extra memorable moments.

In Mario Kart World, players can drive around the open world in Free-Roam mode. Since they can drive virtually anywhere, players can explore the tracks and roads located around the world and search for hidden secrets.
Photos can be taken at any time, so you can take pictures of scenes or locations as you see fit.

You can invite other players to your world and have them participate in your free-roam adventures. You can look for secrets together, hang out, and take photos. You can also treat it as a lobby while waiting in a queue for multiplayer matches.
Multiplayer Guide and All Online Features

Players looking for a challenge can participate in Secret Missions. These hidden challenge modes require players to complete an objective within a given time limit. Secret Missions are great for newcomers and intermediate players because they serve as developer-curated guides that require specific techniques and routes to complete.

Aside from the challenges, there are a number of collectibles you can find in Free Roam. Try to find all of it to obtain secret Characters, Outfits, and Stickers!
