Use to jump over and dodge obstacles and attacks!
Change from Previous Games: You can now access special parts of the course with a Feather. |

Jump Higher
You can use the Feather by pressing the L Button, and this will make you jump much higher than normal.
Avoid Obstacles and Enemy Items
Because of your increased jump height, you can easily jump over obstacles or even enemy items, such as bananas or shells!
Perform a Rail Ride
You usually have to perform a Charge Jump to ride on high rails, but using a feather allows you to perform a Rail Ride on high rails without charging.
How to Deal With Feather
Wait for Your Opponent to Land
An opponent with a Feather might avoid your items if you try to hit them preemptively. Instead, you can wait for them to jump and hit them while they're landing to guarantee that your item hits!
