Although Tilt Control make use of the Switch 2's gyro function, it is recommended to be off in Mario Kart World. Read on to learn more what Tilt Controls are and why it should be off!
What are Tilt Controls?
Turns the Controller Into a Steering Wheel
Tilt Controls makes use of the Switch 2 controller's gyro function, essentially turning it into a steering wheel. Tilting the controller left or right will also turn your character accordingly, while the acceleration and drifting button still being functional on the controller.

Recommended to be Turned Off
Unless you are very accustomed in using the gyro function, it is recommended to turn off the Tilt Controls in the game's settings as it is a difficult feature to utilize.
Small turns and movements are more difficult to perform than the directional buttons or joystick, or you might over commit a turn – potentially losing momentum in the race.
