Effect Three Bananas will orbit your kart that you can throw in front of your Kart.

Wisely Place Them on the Course

Like the Banana item, you can place Triple Bananas on the tracks. Since there are three of them, you can strategically place them in a way that's hard to avoid for opponents.

Place Them in Hard to Avoid Areas

Place your Triple Bananas in areas your opponents will want to go through, such as in front of Item Boxes, or in areas that are hard to avoid, such as ramps, narrow paths, and shortcuts. This way your opponents have a higher chance of running into them.

Wear Them and Hit Your Opponents

When you use the Triple Bananas, they will hover around you and your kart. They also have unique hitboxes, meaning once an opponent hits you, or you hit them they will start spinning making them lose their lead.

Keep Them to Block Shells

If you want protection from incoming shells, you can let the Triple Bananas hover your kart. Since there are three of them, it'll be hard for a shell to go through and hit you. As such, this item is one of the best ways you could use to secure your lead for a while.

How to Deal With Triple Bananas

Hit Them With Shells

Triple Bananas can be eliminated by hitting them with any of the shell items. Even though it's possible to eliminate them, it is highly recommended to avoid them instead.

Stay Away From Them

Triple Bananas have an unpredictable hitbox, hence it's best to stay as far away as possible from the opponent using them. This is to avoid the risk of spinning away and losing your lead in the race.

What Rank Does Triple Bananas Appear?

More Common in Higher Ranking Position

The Banana items are relatively weaker items that benefits most when in front of enemy racers and is more commonly obtained while being in higher positions in a race.
