Effect An item that summons Kamek, whose magic causes strange things to occur, such as transforming obstacles and even other players!
Change from Previous Games:
More rare to get from Item Boxes. Speed boost is lowered.

Gives Invincibility and Speed Boost

Powers you up and gives you invincibility and a significant speed boost for a short duration. The speed boost it provides is used to recover momentum, pass other racers, and even take shortcuts by negating off road slows.

Knocks Other Karts

Upon activating the Super Star, you will also knock other Karts that you come in contact with.

What Ranking Does Super Star Appear At?

More Likely to Spawn at Lower Rankings

Super Star is a recovery item that powers up and boosts the player to help them cover long distances while knocking down enemies, so they tend to appear at when you are at a lower ranking.
