How to change cpu difficulty

CPU difficulty in Mario Kart World varies based on the selected class in certain game modes, while in others, it can be manually adjusted through settings. Learn how to modify CPU difficulty across different game modes!

How to Change CPU Difficulty

Depends on the Chosen Class in Grand Prix and Knockout Tour

Grand Prix Difficulty

The CPU difficulty is determined by the class you choose in the Grand Prix and Knockout Tour game modes. The 150cc and Mirror classes feature the most skilled CPU opponents, providing the highest level of challenge.

VS Race and Battle Mode

VS mode

The difficulty for VS Race and Battle Mode can be manually adjusted in the settings menu by changing the COM Difficulty to either Easy, Normal, or Hard. The higher the COM Difficulty, the better the CPU's technique and item usage is.

Only in VS Race Can You Adjust Both CC and COM Difficulty

COM Difficulty and CC

You can adjust both classes and COM Difficulty only for VS Race mode. Unlike Grand Prix and Knockout Tour, the selected class in VS Race represents a kart's speed instead of CPU difficulty.
