How to do a Spin Turn
You can do a spin turn by holding the A and B button at the same time with the direction that you want to turn to. Learn how to do a spin turn and what it's uses are in this guide.

Hold A and B at the Same Time and Move Left or Right

To execute a spin turn, hold the A and B buttons while simultaneously moving the left stick in the left or right direction. You can let go of the buttons once you're in the direction that you want to go.

You can do a spin turn while moving or stationary, so you can do it whenever you need to.

Spin Turn Uses

Grab an Item That You Have Already Passed

Spin turn is great technique to use in any situation where you need to change direction quickly, especially on Battle Mode and Free Roam. For example, you can go back the way you came from by doing a spin turn first, then driving to the item you passed.
