Mario Kart World offers 29 initial tracks that you will encounter as you compete in the world either in the Grand Prix and the Knockout Tour.

This is a list of Cups that you can find in the Grand Prix mode. Grand Prix are composed of four races with the best overall scores determines the winner of the Cup.

|
This highway course is set in a wilderness lined with gigantic rock mountains. High-speed battles are expected. |
Crown City
|
A metropolitan course lined with the skyscrapers of a modern city. You can even glide down the main streets. |
Whistlestop Summit
|
A train-themed course. Trains also run on the course, and it is a technical course where the racers make full use of the rails in various places. |
DK Spaceport
|
The course design is reminiscent of the original Donkey Kong, and features multiple ramps and a giant Mecha Donkey Kong. |

This is a remake course from Mario Kart 64. It features many uneven sections and jumps that make the most of the race. |
Airship Fortress
|
This is a remake course from Mario Kart DS. The course features a dangerous ship interior with Bullet Bills flying around. |

Wario Shipyard

This is a remake course from Mario Kart 7. The course is set in a bay where a dilapidated ship has been abandoned, and features water areas surrounded by walls and sunken ships. |

Rainbow Road
|
This course is placed high in the air and is known for its colorful theme. You can easily fall off the course due to the lack of rails on the side. |
This is a list of Rallies that you can find in the new Knockout Tour mode. During a Knockout Tour, your main goal will be to survive through all six races as more and more racers are eliminated for not placing the cut.
Knockout Tour Guide and How to Win

The fan-favourite Rainbow Road has been revealed. To unlock the Rainbow Road, you must first win all the previous Cups.
After winning in all 7 of the first Cups in Grand Prix mode, Rainbow Road will appear as part of the Special Cup!
How to Unlock Rainbow Road and Shortcuts
Most of the Courses in the game have shortcuts which you can use to get ahead of the competition! These shortcuts can be essential in winning races.
