Sigrun's Curse is a Favor in God of War Ragnarok (GoW Ragnarok) where you can learn more about Sigrun's past and why she decided to become a Valkyrie. Read on to learn more for a detailed walkthrough about this Favor, how it can be unlocked, rewards, and more!

How to Unlock Sigrun's Curse
Go to either The Oarsmen or the Derelict Outpost
You will automatically gain this Favor when you go to either the Derelict Outpost (A) or The Oarsmen (B). It does not matter which one you go to first as the outcome will remain the same. It begins when you find one half of the Fjoturlund Vault key. For the purpose of this guide, we started with the Oarsmen.

| 1 |  Find clues from Sigrun's past Visit the Oarsmen and the Derelict Outpost in the Lake of Nine in Midgard and find the two halves of the Fjoturlund Vault key. |
| 2 |  Open the treasury door Once you have both keys, go to the Lost Treasury southwest of Tyr's Temple. |
| 3 |  Learn the secret's of Sigrun's treasury Explore the inside of the treasure to finish the quest. |
Fjoturlund Key Half Locations

| The Oarsmen Key Half can be found behind the locked gate when you enter the Oarsmen. To retrieve the key, climb up and go over to the stairs on the other side of the room. | |

The Outpost Key Half can be found deep inside the Derelict Outpost, accessible only when you reach the end of the outpost. You can only pick it up on your way out of the outpost. |
How to Open the Treasury Shield Door
| Instructions | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Slide Shield Door to the right. When you first arrive in the Treasury, some Raiders will appear. After dealing with them, interact with the shield door and slide it to the right then climb up. |
| 2 |  Clear out the barricade. When you reach the top, blow up the barricade with your Axe and slide the fallen pillar. You can't do much with it yet as the shield door is in the way, but we'll get to that in a bit. |
| 3 |  Take out the Wisps. After clearing the debris, get to the other side. Clear the Wisps and go down through the other side. |
| 4 |  Slide the Shield Door to the left. When you get back down, interact with the shield door and slide it all the way ot the left. |
| 5 |  Climb up through the left side. Climb back up the shield and then jump to the left to get to the platform. Go back to the fallen pillar, now you can slide this all the way out to act as a stopper for the Shield Door. |
| 6 |  Use Hex Arrows to freeze both gears to get inside. Once inside, the gears will unfreeze shutting Freya out. Turn around and break the gear on the inside to open the door letting Freya in before. |
