Return of the River is a Favor in God of War Ragnarok (GoW Ragnarok) where you flood the crater with water from the dam in the Jungle to gain access to The Sinkholes. Read on to learn more for a detailed walkthrough about this Favor, how it can be unlocked, rewards, and more!

This favor automatically starts when you reach the jungle and catch a glimpse of the dam that is holding up all the water. After a brief cutscene, you can make your way up to the dam to begin the favor.

| 1 |  Ascend the Dam Head west and keep on the path until you find a lift that is covered in flammable vines. Cast your Sigil Arrows and burn it with your Blades. |
| 2 |  Shoot the wall. Once you reach the top of the dam, you will be greeted with enemies. Once the enemies are dealt with, shoot the wall to create a hole to the inside of the dam. |
| 3 |  Set the vines aflame Once inside the dam, clear out more of the vines to fully have access to the flood gates. |
| 4 |  Flood the Crater Once the vines are clear, open the gears to flood the crater giving you more access to the Sinkholes. |
