Ragnarok - The Elven Sanctum

How to Unlock The Elven Sanctum

Open the Door in the Barrens

Elven Sanctum Start

You automatically gain this favor only when you exit Freyr's camp after gaining Freya as a companion. You can start this quest when you unlock the door to the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim.

Elven Sanctum Map
Explore the Elven Sanctum in Alfheim.
The Elven Sanctum can be found if you stay on your right as you enter the Forbidden Sands.

Search for Elven history
Search for clues about Elven history.
There are mulitple scrolls and rune reads that you can interact with inside the sanctum, including the two chests. Retrieve the Consul's Journal from the elevated platform behind the entrance passage.

Leave the Sanctum
Leave the Sanctum.
As you leave the sanctum you will be attacked by The Maven, the Librarian and protector of the Elven knowledge. Defeat her to get out of the Sanctum.
