God of War Ragnarok (GoW Ragnarok) will be released on both PS4 and PS5! Read on for the possible differences between the PS4 and PS5 versions in graphics, loading times, and differences in controllers.

God of War Ragnarok will be available on both PS4 and PS5 on release! The game will not be a PS5 exclusive, but at this time, there has been no official statement of the game releasing on platforms other than the PlayStation consoles.

Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers

A big difference between the PS4 and PS5 versions of God of War Ragnarok is the Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers of the PS5 DualSense controllers.

With them, you will be able to "feel" every movement and even the intensity of actions happening in-game!

Different Graphics Modes

With the PS5 having more powerful hardware than the PS4, God of War Ragnarok in the PS5 will likely feature graphics settings that allow players to switch between Performance and Resolution modes. This will allow players to choose a specification that is suitable for any specific TV or monitor.

Unfortunately for PS4 players, the game will be locked to 1080p 30 FPS.

The PS5 version of God of War Ragnarok will also be able to significantly reduce the loading times to fully load areas, especially when fast traveling, and cinematics faster. This allows players to have a more seamless experience while playing through the game.
