Story Trailer

During the PlayStation State of Play on September 14, 2022, the Story Trailer of God of War Ragnarok was revealed, showcasing more enemies and pivotal characters. Epic battles in the game are also shown, such as Kratos and Atreus teaming up against two Valkyries (yes, two at the same time) in what seems to be the Realm Between Realms.

The trailer ends in a duel between Kratos and Thor, with the Leviathan Axe and Mjolnir striking each other.

Father and Son Cinematic Trailer

This 30-second trailer was released on July 6, 2022, showing Kratos and Atreus going against a group of Draugr and Hel-Walkers. At the end of the video, the duo encounters a giant wolf named Fenrir.

The game's release on November 9, 2022 was also officially announced in this cinematic trailer.

Ragnarok Release Date and Release Time

Reveal Trailer

The reveal trailer for God of War Ragnarok was released on September 10, 2021 during a PlayStation Showcase. The trailer re-introduces Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir traveling Midgard during the Fimbulwinter. The effects of the long winter can also be seen—thick snow covering the lands and structures and the frozen waters of the Lake of Nine, allowing them across without the need of a boat.

New enemies and areas are also shown in the trailer, possibly realms that were not accessible in the previous installment.
