How to Break Cracked Ground and Floors

Get to Higher Ground

Throughout your journey in the realms, you'll come across cracked ground floors where it sometimes hides chests or hidden paths that lead to it. These cracks can't be destroyed by attacking them. You'll have to find a way up an area above the cracked ground to destroy it.

Pressing Circle to Destroy the Ground

Once you reach a place high enough above the cracked floor, look down, and a prompt should appear. Press the Circle button on your controller, and a quick cutscene will trigger, resulting in a destroyed floor.

Cracked Walls Can Also Be Destroyed

You will also need to look for cracked walls, often wooden structures, while exploring to access hidden rooms. This can usually be destroyed using the same method as the cracked floors.

You only need to stand a bit far and adjacent to the wall, and a prompt should appear to destroy it.
