How to Get XP Fast

Respawn Enemies Using Fast Travel

To get the most XP out of defeating enemies, you'll have to find an area where there are a lot of them. Once you find that spot, kill all the enemies, fast-travel to another location, and return to repeat the process.

Keep repeating this method until you've gained enough XP to unlock everything.

Help NPCs by Completing Side Quests

Talking to NPCs and completing Side Quests (Favors) will grant you a large amount of XP. To start a side quest, interact with the NPCs you'll encounter through your journey in the realms.

Once you finish their conversation, you'll be tasked with completing their side quest, which you can keep track of in your Goals menu.

Finish Labors to Get XP

One of the best ways to get XP in this game is by completing Labors found inside the Goals menu. Players can choose between different labors, ranging from killing specific enemy types to performing certain actions.

Each labor comes with 3 different tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze Tier, where you'll get the most XP by completing the gold tier.

How to Use XP

Used to Unlock Skills

XP is primarily used as a way to unlock individual skills available for each weapon or give Atreus more actions he can perform during combat. Since there are a lot of skills that the player needs to unlock, they will require a ton of XP.

To unlock skills, hover the cursor over the desired skill inside the Skills menu, then press and hold the square button on your controller to confirm your purchase.

Upgrading Runic Attacks

You can also enhance your weapon's runic attacks by using XP, allowing you to boost its damage and effects against your enemies.

Adding Mod Tokens

XP can also be used to craft Mod Tokens to improve their weapon skills. Players can choose between 3 Mod Tokens, which give different bonus effects depending on the skill.

To craft Mod Tokens, you need to unlock them first by completing the skill labor for that skill, requiring you to use the skill a set amount of times until you reach gold skill labor.
