This favor automatically starts when you enter the area with Freyr's giant statue in the Forbidden Sands. Doing this favor first is necessary to start The Desert Door Favor.
Objectives | |

1 |
Investigate the monument to Freyr. Once you approach the statue, Mimir will point out that the lights on the rune reads are out. You have to find a way to restore the light back into the runes. |
2 | Restore Freyr's Gift. |
3 | Investigate Freyr's Gift. |
Instructions | |
---|---|
1 | Clear the Hive Matter Go up the right side of the area and clear the hive matter with one clean throw of your axe. This will make the it easier to access the sound-reactive hive matter below. |
2 | Free the Crystal Go back down and hit the reactive hive matter with Sonic Arrows and expose a crystal held by hive matter. Once you free the crystal you can pick it up from the other side by destroying a few vases. |
3 | Take the Crystal Once you have the crystal, go back up the right side and put the crystal into place. |
4 | Take the 2nd Crystal Take the second Crystal on the left side of the area to expose the purple crystal you can use to break the thick hive matter. Once the high matter is gone, put the crystal back to bring back the light bridge. |
5 | Get the 3rd Crystal Circle back and find the crystal that powers the light bridge going down to Freyr's monument. Take it up to the light bridge on the left and place it there to fully restore Freyr's gift. |
6 | Use the 2nd Crystal to get out Once the light has returned, you cannot take them out again. Instead go down to the base of the area, interact with the rune read and the sand, then get the 2nd Crystal that powered the light bridge on the left to be the new Crystal that powers the light bridge to the exit. |
Rewards | |
