Forging Destiny Objectives

	Objectives
1	Find a path to the surface Use the Blades of Chaos to ignite the explosive barrel and destroy the gate. You can also do this to ignite spilled oil. ▶ How to open the two gates ▶ Aqueduct puzzle solution
2	Head to the forge with Brok
3	Destroy the Nightmare Haunt to release the lift ▶ Lift and geyser puzzle solution
4	Ride the lift up to the forge
5	Repair the switch Chop some materials Brok needs to fix the switch. They can be found in the same area.
6	Forge the weapon You will unlock the Draupnir Spear afterwards.
7	Find a path down the mountain

1. How to Open the Two Gates

This small puzzle is encountered in the tunnels, where you'll find a Twilight Stone next to a gate and a chain on the other corner.

1	Pull the chains all the way down then shoot a Sigil Arrow on the nearest lock. With a mark in place, throw your axe at it to make the Frost last longer.
2	Release the chain and recall your axe. Position yourself near the gate then throw your axe at the Twilight Stone so that it ricochets to the other lock.

1. Aqueduct Puzzle Solution

You'll run into another aqueduct puzzle right past the two gates in the puzzle above. This puzzle must be solved to open the gate to your right, which eventually leads to the surface.

1	Open the smaller gate on your left by throwing your axe at the aqueduct above the water wheel. Crawl to the next room filled with enemies and find the crank that will rotate the central aqueduct in the previous room.
2	Go back to the main room and shoot a Sigil Arrow on the segment just above the lower aqueduct, then throw the Leviathan Axe at the same spot. This should make the water flow below.
3	Now, look up on your left and throw your axe on the segment above the water wheel to open the gate ahead.

3. Lift and Geyser Puzzle Solution

On your way to the Nightmare-infested lift, you'll reach an area with geysers and two lifts—one that you can ride on and one that you can't because it's full of rocks. Once you get Brok up the lift, he can crank it up and down for you to solve this puzzle and open the gate ahead.

1	Ride the lift up and turn right to find a rock wall that you can grapple on. Have Brok move the lifts so that the lift full of rocks moves up.
2	Look on your left and aim your axe throw at the geyser to freeze it. This will increase the pressure on the other geyser. Have Brok operate the crank again to open the gate to the Nightmare Haunt.
