God of War Ragnarok's (GoW Ragnarok) Photo Mode is not yet available as of the game's launch on November 9, 2022. Read on to learn the specifics of the delay, and how Photo Mode worked in the previous game!

How to Unlock Photo Mode
Photo Mode Unavailable on Launch
Unfortunately, God of War Ragnarok's Photo Mode is not yet available as of the game's launch. Santa Monica Studio tweeted on October 26, 2022 that the feature will arrive after launch, but they have not yet released any updates or details regarding Photo Mode as of November 9, 2022.
However, the delayed release of a Photo Mode is not unusual, as the previous title, God of War (2018), also launched without Photo Mode and received it in a later patch.

God of War (2018) had an extensive Photo Mode, featuring the following options:

| Field of View Settings | Allows for fine adjustment of the camera's field of view and focal length. |
| Depth of Field Settings | Toggle the scene's depth of field and adjust the camera's focus distance and f-stop values. |
| Film Grain and Filters | Modify the amount of film grain and exposure in the scene, as well as add filters and adjust filter intensity. |
| Border Settings | Toggle and adjust vignette settings and add borders and logos to the scene. |
| Character Settings | Hide and show Kratos, Atreus, and other characters in the scene and modify the protagonists' facial expressions. |
