Complete Secret of the Sands

Song of the Sands is unlocked after completing the Secret of the Sands quest. You'll have to travel to the Forbidden Sands in Alfheim, where you'll receive the quest automatically upon entering the area.

Find The Hafgufa Cave Entrance

	Objectives
1	Find the Cave entrance The entrance to the Hafgufa Cave Entrance is located at the center of the area with two torches lighting the entrance.

Reach the Hafgufa

2	Head inside and climb down into the hole
3	Remove obstacles using sonic arrows
4	Follow the path going west You will be using your Blades of Chaos a lot to traverse through the cavern.
5	Use sonic arrows to open a hive wall and destroy the green wall behind it to proceed
6	Delve deeper into the cavern
7	Throw the Leviathan Axe at the Twilight Stone on the floor This will destroy the obstacle blocking the path, allowing you to proceed.
8	Defeat any enemies you encounter along the way You'll encounter quite a bunch of enemies in the room after defeating the Wretches.
9	Squeeze through a gap in the wall and climb down into the depths of the cavern
10	Destroy the Twilight Stone hiding behind a Hive Wall
11	Traverse through the cavern and defeat all enemies you encounter The path ahead will require the use of your Blades of Chaos again and at the end of the path, you'll encounter more enemies. Defeat them all to proceed.
12	Climb the wall to the south After you've killed all the enemies, you will be able to climb up a wall to the south.
13	Destroy The Hafgufa's Bindings To get rid of the obstacles on your way, drop down on the ledge southwest. Align your aim with all 3 of the binds and throw it at them to destroy the obstacle.

14	Destroy the remaining bindings Once you're inside the room with the Hafgufa, you'll have to destroy all of the bindings to set it free. You won't be able to destroy the Hafgufa's Bindings in front of you until you destroy the other one first.
15	Get Across the Gap to the Southwest If you look directly southwest, you'll see another hive that needs to be destroyed. Throw your Leviathan Axe on the Twilight Stone located on the other side of the gap, and this will destroy the hive wall and reveal a hook you can use to get across the gap.
16	Destroy the Hafgufa's Bindings first Once you cross, destroy the bindings in the west first. A Twilight Stone is hiding behind a Hive wall near the binds, where you can use it to ricochet your axe and destroy all the binds.
17	Cross through the gap again to destroy the northeast binds
18	Destroy the final binds in the middle to free the Hafgufa

Open The Hive Cage

19	Follow the path northeast and open a Legendary Chest
20	Defeat all enemies and proceed to the next area
21	Throw the axe at the upper Twilight Stone This will ricochet down to the second one, destroying the hive wall in the process.
22	Face the Twilight Stone at the large Twilight Stone Solve this puzzle by facing the Twilight stone towards the larger stone using the spinning mechanism. Use your Leviathan Axe and hit the larger stone to cause it to bounce over the smaller one and into the hive wall.
23	Reach the surface and open the Hive Cage

Songs of the Sands Quest Rewards

The Forbidden Sands Sandstorm Disappears

Similarly to the previous quest, freeing the Hafgufa will clear the area of the sandstorm, allowing you to explore the entirety of the desert area blocked off by the storm.

Obtain the Full Gufa Trophy

Once you've freed the Hafgufa from its binds from the Secret of the Sands and Song of the Sands quests, you'll be able to receive the trophy Full Gufa.
