How to Unlock Born From Fire

Discover the Burning Craters

Born From Fire will immediately be unlocked once Kratos discovers 1 of 6 Draugr Holes in the Nine Realms. This favor can be unlocked early on, with the easiest crater being found in the Svartalfheim open-world.

The Watchtower, Svartalfheim: Head to the watchtower instead of the mining rig on the right-hand side of Sindri's workshop. The draugr hole is located behind the watched tower which you can access through the stairs.

Applecore, Svartalfheim: This draugr hole will be accessible once players reach the Svatalfheim mines in search for Tyr. Just follow the main quest and it will inevitably lead you to the draugr hole.

The Barrens, Alfheim: This draugr hole can be found on top of a plateau north of the canyons. This area will be unlocked after completing the main quest in this area.

The Abandoned Village, Vanaheim: The draugr hole at the Abandoned Village in Vanaheim can be accessed by playing though the main quest, The Reckoning.

Lake of the Nine, Midgard: Located west of the King's Grave is Midgard's only draugr hole.

The Plains, Vanaheim: The only way to unlock this part of Vanaheim is to complete the favor, Return of the River.

Defeat Draugr Minions First Avoid The Hateful's Flaming Attacks Reflect Its Flaming Projectiles Use Spartan Rage Wisely Stay On Guard for Unblockable Attacks

Not only are the Hateful strong mini-bosses, their holes also spawn in other enemies. It's great not to get surrounded by all the enemies so use quick turn to keep track of them.

Be sure to know he enemies' attack patterns to parry or dodge them.

Completion Rewards

Every time a Hateful is defeated, it will drop a Chaos Spark. By defeating all Hateful and combining all sparks, players will be able to receive a Chaos Flame to upgrade the Blades of Chaos.
