◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Spring Linhardt will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Spring Linhardt are +Res and -Def. As a demote unit without an exclusive skill, Linhardt needs to lean into his strengths to be relevant on the battlefield. His high Res stat makes him a good magic tank, and focusing on that will ensure he performs his job well.
Spring Linhardt's Def is his least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Res when merging Spring Linhardt up to +10 for similar reasons above.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Spring Linhardt is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Spring Linhardt's inheritable Carrot Bow+ inflicts Atk/Def-7 and 【Discord】 on foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on Linhardt at the start of both phases if he wins a Res check.
In combat, Carrot Bow+ grants Atk/Res+5 to Linhardt, and if his foe is inflicted with 【Discord】, Carrot Bow+ grants Linhardt a guaranteed follow-up attack while denying his foe's own follow-up attack.
While not as powerful as notable inheritable weapons like Arcane weapons, this inheritable bow can provide adequate support in battle.
Spring Linhardt suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.
Bow infantry units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Spring Linhardt replaceable by better units.

like, during arena, i am forced to use him this week, & he's so weak, i make sure to keep him far away from the opposite team, so just having him in a cardinal direction, far away, can help my allies. Since he already gives atk & def debuff, i wanted to put speed debuff to help my allies, but not sure if it's even worth doing, as opposed to just keeping him far away & killing the opponent with my good heroes (winter Edelgard & yanuka, valentines Lyon, & brave robin are my best).
