+Spd / -Res

The best IVs for Perne are +Spd and -Res. Boosting Spd improves his Spd stat to base 48, increased to 51 when equipping Blade Royale. 51 Spd is sufficient to ensure he keeps up with the fastest metagame units while also creating follow-up attacks against anyone else.

Perne's Res is his weakest stat and is a safe bane to take as it won't impact any of his matchups.

+Spd for a +10 merge

How to Use, Explanation

This is a premium offensive build for Perne. Assassin's Strike provides unmitigated pre-combat damage, allowing Perne to soften up his foes before he even attacks. Time's Pulse 4 speeds up his Special, and together with Blade Royale, allows him to trigger Draconic Aura immediately.

Perne is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Perne Strengths

Blade Royale attacks twice, grants bonus stats, penalty neutraliazation, and Special cooldown charges

Perne's Blade Royale grants Atk/Spd+6 and a status effect neutralizing penalties to himself and his nearby allies at the start of each turn.

In combat, Blade Royale grants Perne Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and extra Special cooldown charges per attack, and if he initiates combat, he attacks twice.

While this weapon doesn't have a built-in accelerated Special trigger, the extra Special cooldown charges per attack compensate that and allow Perne to still quickly trigger his Special skill.

Obtain through a Grand Hero Battle

Perne is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
