As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Marla will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Atk / -Def

The best IVs for Marla are +Atk and -Def. Boosting Atk improves Marla's damage output, which is sorely needed due to her lack of an exclusive weapon to call her own.

Def is a clear dump stat and should be the bane of choice as it is very difficult to salvage Marla's low Def stat.

+Atk for a +10 merge

We recommend +Atk when merging Marla up to +10 to maximize her damage output as much as possible.

Marla is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Marla Strengths

Rauðrdeer+ creates an Atk stat swing and slows down foe's Special charges

Marla's inheritable weapon Rauðrdeer+ grants her Atk+5, inflicts Atk-5 onto her foe, and slows down her foe's Special cooldown charges in combat.

While not stellar, this weapon can function well on enemy phase heroes and improves both bulk and damage output.

Marla Weaknesses

Low Physical Bulk

Marla's physical bulk is lackluster with only base 38 HP and base 20 Def. Any decent physical attacker can bring her down in one hit.

Keep Marla away from physical attackers to ensure her survival.

Lack of Unique Skills

Marla suffers from not having any unique skills to call her own, making her unable to stand out amongst other units.

Red Tome Infantry units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Marla replaceable by better units.

How to Get Marla

Obtain through a Grand Hero Battle

Marla is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
