When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Halloween Timerra are +Spd and -Res. Halloween Timerra's Spd is quite high at base 46, and investing into it allows her to keep up with all the fast metagame units in competitive game modes.
+Def is also a good choice, as it is a superboon and improves upon Halloween Timerra's already impressive physical bulk.
Res is the clear bane of choice as it is her least important stat.
We recommend +Spd when merging Halloween Timerra up to +10 to ensure she remains competitive in the highest Spd tiers.

Halloween Timerra is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Halloween Timerra's exclusive weapon Inspirited Spear grants Spd/Def+6 to herself and all nearby allies at the start of each turn.
At the start of each enemy phase, Inspirited Spear inflicts 【Guard】 on all foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on Timerra, and if those foes have an non-AoE offensive Special with current cooldown count 1 or less and have less Def than Timerra, Inspirited Spear also inflicts Special cooldown count +1 on those foes. This effect heavily influences her foe's Special triggers, and can make them unable to trigger Specials altogether!
In combat, Inspirited Spear grants Halloween Timerra Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-X onto her foe, where X is 15% of Timerra's Def. Inspirited Spear also deals bonus damage equal to 40% of Timerra's Def whenever her Special triggers, and then heals Timerra 7 HP after combat.
Paired with her base kit's Vital Astra and Time's Pulse 4, Halloween Timerra can utilize these effects very well, improving her survivability and increasing her overall damage output at the same time.
Halloween Timerra's base Res sits at only base 23, leaving her completely reliant on Inspirited Spear's effects and the damage reduction from both Vital Astra and Spurn 4 to survive magical damage.
Keep Timerra away from foes that deal magic damage to ensure maximum performance in battle.
