At start of enemy phase, foe foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit, inflicts 【Guard】 on foe, and also, if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special, foe's Special cooldown count ≤ 1, and foe's Def < unit's Def, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe (cannot exceed foe's maximum Special cooldown). At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-X on foe during combat (X = 15% of unit's Def at start of combat), deals damage = 40% of unit's Def when Special triggers (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat.

Vital Astra Cooldown Count = 2 Boosts damage by 30% of unit's Spd. If unit's Special is ready and unit's Spd > foe's Sod, reduces damage from area-of-effect Specials by percentage = difference between stats x 3 (max 30%). At the start of combat, if unit's Special is ready and unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat by percentage = difference between stats x 3 (max 30%). (Damage-reduction effects like above are considered non-Special effects, so skills like Deadeye still apply.)

Bonus Doubler 4 If 【Bonus】 is active on unit or an ally within 2 spaces of unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X to unit during combat (X = 4 + highest bonus on each stat between unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit; calculates each stat bonus independently).

Spurn 4 Inflicts Spd/Def-4 on foe during combat. If a skill compares unit's Spd to foe or ally's Spd, treats unit's Spd as if granted +7. The best IVs for Halloween Timerra are +Spd and -Res. Halloween Timerra's Spd is quite high at base 46, and investing into it allows her to keep up with all the fast metagame units in competitive game modes.

+Def is also a good choice, as it is a superboon and improves upon Halloween Timerra's already impressive physical bulk.

Res is the clear bane of choice as it is her least important stat.

+Spd for a +10 merge

How to Use, Explanation

Halloween Timerra makes great use of Distant Dart with her multiple sources of damage reduction and various defensive effects on her Inspirited Spear. While she cannot survive multiple magical hits, she can take a few and retaliate with a Vital Astra trigger.

How to Use, Explanation

Halloween Timerra can utilize Atk/Spd Finish very well with all the defensive effects on her base kit, including the post-combat healing of Inspirited Spear which stacks with the Finish skills. With this build, Timerra can sustain herself throughout multiple melee engagements.

Halloween Timerra is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Halloween Timerra Strengths

Inspirited Spear inflicts 【Guard】and slows down foe's Specials, grants stat swings, bonus damage, and post-combat recovery

Halloween Timerra's exclusive weapon Inspirited Spear grants Spd/Def+6 to herself and all nearby allies at the start of each turn.

At the start of each enemy phase, Inspirited Spear inflicts 【Guard】 on all foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on Timerra, and if those foes have an non-AoE offensive Special with current cooldown count 1 or less and have less Def than Timerra, Inspirited Spear also inflicts Special cooldown count +1 on those foes. This effect heavily influences her foe's Special triggers, and can make them unable to trigger Specials altogether!

In combat, Inspirited Spear grants Halloween Timerra Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def-X onto her foe, where X is 15% of Timerra's Def. Inspirited Spear also deals bonus damage equal to 40% of Timerra's Def whenever her Special triggers, and then heals Timerra 7 HP after combat.

Paired with her base kit's Vital Astra and Time's Pulse 4, Halloween Timerra can utilize these effects very well, improving her survivability and increasing her overall damage output at the same time.
