At start of turn, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 and the following status to unit and allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn: "If unit initiates combat, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack." If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 to unit and grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd = highest respective Atk/Spd bonuses among unit and allies within 2 spaces x 1.5 (calculates each stat bonus independently).

Restores HP = 50% of unit's Atk (min 8 HP) to target ally. Unit moves 1 space away from target ally. Ally moves to unit's previous space.
If unit or ally cannot move to the target space (if another ally or foe is occupying the space), unit and ally will not move. Using this skill has no effect on Special cooldown charge and unit does not gain EXP or SP. (This skill is treated as a movement skill only when movement takes place.)

If an Assist skill is used, unit's Special cooldown count does not go down. When Special triggers, boosts damage by 25% of foe's Res. (Calculates damage from staff after combat damage is added.) If this Special is triggered during combat, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 and 【Guard】 on target and foes within 2 spaces of target after combat (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown).

At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spd+7, but after combat, if unit attacked, deals 5 damage to unit.

Unit can move to a space adjacent to an ally within 2 spaces. Inflicts Spd-4 on foe during combat and foe cannot counterattack.

Inflicts Spd/Res-4 on foes within 3 spaces during combat.

+Spd / -Def

The best IVs for Ascended Elincia are +Spd and -Def. Her Spd is her most important stat with Crimean Scepter providing offensive stat buffs, allowing her to outspeed her foes and create follow-up attacks.

Her physical bulk is pitiful and any physical attack will most likely defeat her in one hit. Thus, taking Def as a bane shouldn't make a difference.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging Ascended Elincia up to +10 in order to maximize her follow-up attack potential during combat.

How to Use, Explanation

Ascended Elincia's base kit is already good to go right away. Giving her the Blade Session seal boosts her offenses and can allow her to burst down enemies easier. Return+ can be used if the Reposition effect is better suited for the team.

Ascended Elincia wields her exclusive Crimean Scepter which accelerates her Special trigger, grants Atk/Spd+6 as a visible bonus, and grants Atk/Spd+6 and an additional bonus to Atk/Spd equal to the highest respective Atk/Spd bonuses among Ascended Elincia and allies within 2 spaces of her x 1.5.

On top of these offensive effects, Crimean Scepter grants Atk/Spd+6 and a guaranteed follow-up attack when initiating combat to Ascended Elincia and allies within 2 spaces of herself.

This staff is both offensive and supportive at the same time, and when paired with the rest of her base kit, makes Ascended Elincia a formidable unit in combat.

Light's Restraint is a powerful offensive Special

Ascended Elincia debuts Light's Restraint, the second offensive Special for Staff units after Valentine's Elise's Holy Pressure.

This Special has a cooldown of 2 (1 when using Crimean Scepter) and when triggered, boosts damage by 25% of the foe's Res, inflicts Special cooldown +1 and applies 【Guard】 to target foe and all foes within 2 spaces of that foe.

One drawback is that this Special causes assist skills to not reduce Special cooldown count. However, newer healing Specials that also provide movement such as Return+ and Rescue+ already do that, making this effect negligible.

Ascended Elincia Weaknesses

Weak to Bows

As a flying unit, Ascended Elincia takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
