New Year Yarne is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to his/her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Wary Rabbit Fang has multiple in-combat effects and reduces Special cooldown post-combat

New Year Yarne's exclusive weapon Wary Rabbit Fang grants Spd+3 and is effective against cavalry foes.

Additionally, if New Year Yarne initiates combat or is not adjacent to an ally, it grants him Atk/Spd+6 during combat, inflicts an Atk/Def penalty equal to 20% of his Spd, and reduces his Special cooldown by 2 after combat if his HP ≤ 90%.

The Special cooldown reduction is the best part about this weapon, allowing New Year Yarne to trigger Galeforce easily. This condition is easily met by Yarne taking some damage, or even by equipping self-recoil skills like Fury to ensure he falls below the HP threshold.
