What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill heals ally at any distance at start of turn. |
Might: 12 Range: 2 At start of turn, restores 10 HP to ally that has been dealt the most damage. (Excludes unit.) |
Range: 1 Restores HP = damage dealt to unit +50% of Atk. (Minimum of 7 HP) Restores HP to unit = half damage dealt to unit. |
Cooldown Count = 2 When healing an ally with a staff, all other allies recover 10 HP. |
If defending in Aether Raids, grants Atk/Res+X during combat. (Calculates X based on number of your defensive structures: ≥5 structures grants +10; 4 grants +7; 3 grants +4; ≤2 grants +1. Destroyed defensive structures are not counted.) |
At start of turn, grants Spd +6 to allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn. Granted only if the number of that ally’s movement type on current team ≤ 2. |
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (18) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Atk (9) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Spd (9) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Def (6) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Res (9) | ★★★★☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Dwyer are +Res and -Def. Dwyer has a relatively high Res stat at base 39 (43 with a superboon) and he can serve a niche by being a Res tank and a healer at the same time.
His Def is lackluster and should be the bane of choice. Atk is also a good bane if opting to use him strictly as a support.
We recommend +Res when merging Dwyer up to +10 for similar reasons above. Res is his best stat and maximizing it allows Dwyer to have a clear niche on the team.

Dwyer has high Res thus we maximize it with Res boosting skills and a Ploy to function as both a healer and a debuffer.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Dwyer is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Dwyer's Aid+ heals his most wounded ally for 10 HP at the start of each turn, no matter how far away they are from him.
Combined with his healing assist, Dwyer functions well as a pure support by being able to heal multiple allies in one action, or simply healing an ally twice to bring them back up to full.
Dwyer suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him a mediocre option on the battlefield.
Other healers with exclusive skills will outshine him, as they can provide additional utility on top of their healing skills.
Dwyer's base 37 Atk is not good enough for the modern metagame, even if he is given Wrathful Staff 3 either through the B skill or through a weapon refine.
His best role is to function as a pure support by utilizing his high Res stat with Res-check skills.
