+Spd / -HP

The best IVs for Caeldori are +Spd and -HP. Boosting Spd improves her already high Spd stat to 47, and the innate Null Follow-Up effect of Prodigy Polearm will ensure that Spd becomes the deciding stat in making follow-up attacks.

Her overall bulk is average all around. Any of her defensive stats are good options for a bane. Choose the stat that matters the least for your team. We chose HP as a middle ground to avoid losing any stat-based checks.

+Spd for a +10 merge

We recommend +Spd when merging Caeldori to +10 for similar reasons above. Boosting Spd ensures she wins the Spd check more often.

How to Use, Explanation

With the innate Null Follow-Up on Prodigy Polearm, Caeldori works very well with Dive-Bomb to attack twice and defeat her foe immediately. Her high Spd stat is improved with various Atk/Spd skills to ensure a follow-up attack.

Caeldori is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Caeldori Strengths

Prodigy Polearm has Null Follow-Up and creates solid stat swings

Caeldori's Prodigy Polearm has Null Follow-Up 3 built into it, allowing her high Spd stat to determine whether follow-up attacks occur.

It also grants Caeldori Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and reduces her foe's Atk/Def depending on her Spd stat and the number of her overall stats that are relatively close to her foe's corresponding stats.

The stat swings created by this weapon allow Caeldori to hit harder and survive combat at the same time.

Competition

Lance fliers are a very saturated weapon/movement class pairing and Caeldori does not stand out enough to warrant using above all the other lance fliers in the game.

Her innate Null Follow-Up is what sets her apart from the rest.

Weak to Bows

As a flying unit, Caeldori takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
